For Pam

As I was uploading these pictures from our zoo trip today, I received an email from Pam (Nature Woman).
Her father has been in ICU for about a week, and it seemed that he was improving, but today he took a turn for the worse and passed away.
She is overcome with grief, and since I am too far away to give her a warm hug, this is the only thing I can do right now.

I am asking everyone who ever reads this blog, whether you ever comment or not, whether I know who you are or not:
Please go to her blog and leave a word or two of sympathy and comfort. Nothing would please me more than her inbox getting flooded with warm wishes.

Now is when I really wish we were all neighbors. My heart aches for Pam.

Okay, I've left a note for Pam. And now you have really made me jealous! I LOVE the Cincy zoo and look forward to every moment I can spend there. Thanks for taking me there tonight. Sigh.....

Indeed...may we pray that in the days ahead, she be uplifted by all the prayers being sent up for her dad and her family.

Pam's definitely been on a roller coaster ride lately. I understand it. Like Lynne said, we should be neighbors.

I need to think of something to do or say to make her laugh out loud soon!

Thanks for the nice message, Susan, and for these great photos!

I feel soo bad about Pam and everything she has been going through with her father. She is soo sad and wish her the best! Susan, you have done a wonderful memorial to her and her father here!

I will go straight from here-it's SO hard and sad. I do remember when my mother died a year ago how much I valued the support of my blogging neighbors. Thank you for the heads up and the lovely zoo photos as well.

Dear Susan, thank you so very much for your kind words. I know you understand. Your words are a comfort to me. And I've told my Mom and brothers and they are comforted, too.
I'm glad Mon@rch & Mary told me to check out my friends' blogs. Thank you so very much. And I love your photos.
