Voices

Drove myself to Urgent Care this morning.
Fever. Can't breathe or swallow without wincing.
Turns out that I have pharyngitis, a big nasty ear infection and tonsils that look like mold-covered cherry tomatoes.
Had to cancel a very big program for tomorrow. How can I teach if I can't talk?

Yuck Susan, sounds awful. I hope you got some good meds and can take it easy for a couple days or till you feel better.

Now that really sucks--so a flu shot wasn't the prevention? 'Cause an infection like pharyngitis would be bacerially caused, right?
SO SO SORRY for you--wish my magic want were working--it would be waving frantically in your direction.
Take care, heal, restore, renew

So sorry you are still sick. Doesn't seem fair to have flu and then those dreaded complications and super-infections. Hope the meds will clear things up. Take care of yourself.

Wow, Susan, so sorry to hear that you're feeling so ick. I hope the doc has filled you with antibiotics (or something strong to clear this mess out of your system) and sent you back home to STAY IN BED. The birds can wait -- you get to feeling better!
