A new yard bird I have been hoping for

Having a wooded creek across the road from our house, I have wondered why I never saw catbirds here.
Tonight I was strolling in wonderment in the prairie (it's huge. I love it.) I heard a "mew...mew".
I thought it must be a mockingbird, but it started warbling and gushing, and it sure didn't sound like a mockingbird anymore.
After getting this quick audio, I saw it fly out of the tree and head back to the creek.
How about that....a new yard bird that should have been here all along. Yard bird #54.

Yay!!
I love catbirds. My favorite yard bird song belongs to the catbird.
Maybe you can lure him around to stay with some grape jelly. Mine love it.

Oh gees--did you read my blog back when that catbird attacked me while I was out working in my garden? He pecked me on the lower back, no doubt going for my kidney! Crazy-ass birds!
