It seems like it has been 100 years.
Two years ago, I started at RAPTOR, Inc.
It started out as just a thing to do on Saturdays. Wanting to do something real and tangible for birds, something other than just putting out seeds and suet.
When they asked if I was interested in doing education programs, my life took a turn for the better.
The first time I ever held a raptor...the red screech owl. Can you believe I was nervous?
We have a RAPTOR board meeting tomorrow night. I fully expect a card or something.

Congratulations Susan! I'm glad you've found something that feeds your soul an Raptor is lucky to have you too.
Hey, a card? Hell, I'd put a dozen roses on your lap for everything you've done for the bewds, and me. I mean all of us. You've helped me raise my grade in raptor ID from an F to a C+ during the past year. You rock.
Congratulations, Susan.
Big Hug,
Mary
Congrats! Two years already? Wow... you've come so far from being scared of that little screech.
Happy Anniversary! Congratulations! What a blessing to do something you truly love.
And that bracelet you made Rachel is just lovely. She is lucky.
Congratulations. It is a wonder service for the birds.
Happy Anniversary! You must be one quick learner to have obtained all this knowledge in only two years.
We have learned so much about these wonderful birds from you. And we do thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
So, celebrate and give yourself a big pat on the back.
Happy Raptorversary!!!! You're an excellent representative of Raptor. They are lucky to have you and so are we who read your blog.
What a cute little guy!!!
Happy RAPTORversary Susan!!!
I am not sure if I can get your card to the board meeting on time but hope this online congrats {{{HUG}}} is good enough! Congrats my friend and so glad you have spent the time at this wonderful place!
Congrats--when I first read your post--I thought you said 10 years. And I was getting excited--10 years of working to save/help/rescue raptors. Then I saw two--seems like 100.
Well, I hope you go for 100 (or whatever number makes the most sense).
Keep up the good work.
Oh, the card is in the mail.
WOW! Gosh, it's been two years already. Time sure does fly. That's so cool, a picture of your first time holding a raptor. I feel all mushy inside.
Congratulations, you strong raptor of a woman you. Oh, and Matty said hi! (and probably something like "heh heh you said _____.")
Congratulations Susan!
That's a cute picture, but the little screech owl looks like it's thinking, "who is this woman and why am I sitting on her finger?"
