An impromptu song about a vulture

Lorelei is always singing something. Whether it's a song she knows, or one she makes up on the spot....it's kind of like living with an opera singer.

We spotted a turkey vulture above our street, and it inspired her to make up a little ditty:

I think Lynne will like it.

I love this little ditty, too. I will sing it- although not as well as Lorelei- for Turk and Pugsley, our resident TVs. And maybe I'll post some pictures, too. Poor Turk is down one whole wing for the past 8 years-probably should have been, ah, well, you know but he wasn't so he lists drastically to one side and is nicknamed Lurch. Nevertheless- he is a real chicken leg enthusiast and seems quite content with his lot in life. ;-)

Love it! And trust me, that is a pleasure you won't have to give up as she gets older . . . although you will have to be sneakier about capturing it on video! :)
