I wanna sleep for three days

I have been in a flurry of RAPTOR programs, Christmas shopping, general chaos.

Today, I did SEVEN back-to-back talks at a local elementary school. And I will be doing it again tomorrow. This school is in a rapidly growing community, and the kids I am talking to are all in the second grade. In this ONE school, there are 35 second grade classes. Marc, one of our board members, will be taking on Friday for me, so I should be able to speak for Christmas. It's tough to repeat the same talk seven times in a row. And keep it fresh. And keep an eye on the birds.
We do this every year at this school, and it's good money for RAPTOR, but I am SO TIRED.

Some of the kids today said they remembered me from other programs I have done around town. I have a troupe of mini-groupies!

Tomorrow night, after enlightening another 200 little minds, the girls and I will be going to the annual pre-Christmas shindig at my Aunt Kay's house. Click HERE to read about these wonderful women.

Whoa! How can one school have 35 five 2nd grade classes? Yikes!

Enjoy Aunt Kay's.

SEVEN back-to-back talks? That's wonderful, Susan, but you must be physically and mentally exhausted. Only one to go...

Rest up and look forward to sleep and enjoying your shindig. I remember reading about it last year!

I slept for ten hours last night vs. my normal 5-1/2 :o)

WHAT the hell school is THAT?? Dang I'm glad I'm down in Louvull LOL that is TOO MANY kids.

Really missing you guys tonight.... remember when our parents were our age and life was 'too hectic' to have Christmas... well, before Christmas? Okay, so we can't actually REMEMBER back that far, but still. :)

Next year I'll have more reliable transportation and sneaking up North for a few hours won't be such a problem. So instead, it will probably snow or ice buckets or something LOL.

Eat lots of chicken dip, skyline, etc for me- HUGS HUGS
