There was a waiting list for the feeders this morning. I could only capture about 20 birds in this pic, but there were easily twice as many at any given time.
Still playing with the sketch thingy. I don't know what's supposed to show up. The birds this morning were: Cardinals Grackles Juncos House Sparrows *yuck* House finches One little chipping sparrow Song Sparrows Goldfinches A downy or two Carolina Wrens Ahhhh..I love my birds! Thanks for the bunny sketches...hopefully I will actually get to see them. It's the thought that counts, right? :-)
Found a wonderful bit of culinary info on the internet: You can substitute a rat for up to four of the four and twenty Blackbirds the next time you catch twenty birds in your yard!
