  1. Very interesting. Good video, especially for night. How close were you to Junior?

  2. Swami:
At first, I was about 5 feet away, then at the end, I moved up until I was about 2 feet away.

  3. That is soooo cool! Do you take video with your new camera? My camera has the video feature and I've never used it - I guess it's time to play!
You and Junior sitting in a tree. . . he loves you!

  6. Just for info, the video was much more visible on home computer, than work computer.

Some people may be wondering; what do you mean its a good video at night.

  7. I had no idea what I was in for when I saw "Junior video," but holy cow, what a treat! He's quite vocally expressive. Very cool.

  10. Mary:
Isn't he a stud muffin? (as owls go, that is)

    Pam:
Yeah, I used the new camera. It's one of my favorite features. And it has stereo sound, I might add!

    Lynne:
Yes, that squeaky sound is him. He reminds me of a mockingbird sometimes. That squeak is the same sound that the gate makes in the barn!

    Liza:
My new beau. A feathered Don Juan.

    Jess:
Never know what you are gonna get here...controversy, horny owls...I like to keep all of you on your toes.

    Ruth:
Those last pictures were a good example of owl camo, weren't they? Sorry that they weren't "clickable". It's a Blogger thing.

    Laura:
He's a sexy, sexy owl, that Junior! And imagine that I used to be a little scared of him! I got so close the other night, I could have touched him.
I hope he finds a girl soon, too. Every time I see him, I think of your "better wear a hardhat" comment! LOL!
