Dead is dead, but still, the first seems so pointless and unnecessary.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-67450917520029046692009-07-21T17:25:59.896-04:002009-07-21T17:25:59.896-04:00Great story...even though there is some sadness in...Great story...even though there is some sadness in it..but positive stuff too! But I am sad sad sad.
I don't want human activity to be the cause of so many creatures dying.
I used to follow the peregrine falcons that make their nest in our state capital (via cool webcam). Each year, I would see how many eggs, how many eyasses--but then they would fledge, and whack into buildings, or high wires, or whatever.
I breaks my heart.KGMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165941950953938943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-83623877240870392442009-07-21T13:50:22.506-04:002009-07-21T13:50:22.506-04:00Thank you Susan for doing your part to send that b...Thank you Susan for doing your part to send that bird back to the wild.Lynne at Hasty Brookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09187035706322695138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-54491587201391687902009-07-21T12:33:45.041-04:002009-07-21T12:33:45.041-04:00I'm sad like all the other commenters, but hap...I'm sad like all the other commenters, but happy that RT had another two years to fly, hunt, raise young and enjoy life. I too rehab animals, the mammal variety. I realistically know that if those animals I release live long enough to reproduce then I've succeeded in my job. It is such a bittersweet moment when you release these animals for your care back to the arms of Mother Nature.Shelly Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18367843308248195970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-59846764494953476422009-07-21T08:27:52.241-04:002009-07-21T08:27:52.241-04:00I'm sad.
