Wouldn't they be healthier and grow bigger with worms?

Boy, worms in the kitchen. that sounds great!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-1155048441553080162006-08-08T10:47:00.000-04:002006-08-08T10:47:00.000-04:00I agree -- vermicomposting is awesome! Awesome compost. And, a double bonus for kids . . . YOU'RE TOUCHING WORM POOP!

Although it was the half rotted food, not the worm poop that had me wearing gloves when I was using a worm box! :)

And, contrary to what a lot of the worm books tell you, I found that just spreading worms around made my yard so awesome. I'd buy a tub of red wigglers and spread the joy around. A few in that big potted plant. A bunch down near the dog run where the water runs off when I hose the run down. A bunch in my compost pile. Great stuff. When we moved, I dug up the roses that I planted when my children were born and I found my rose bed was FULL of worms. Awesome soil, great natural compost. It's ALL good!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-1155041172890903612006-08-08T08:46:00.000-04:002006-08-08T08:46:00.000-04:00I used to have an acquaintance that told me he use...I used to have an acquaintance that told me he used red worms in his kitchen, kept in an enclosed container, and they did a great job. Hmmmm, worms, a very cool idea! I might have to get some worms, too!NatureWomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04272529400065960820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18239868.post-1155007508800507012006-08-07T23:25:00.000-04:002006-08-07T23:25:00.000-04:00You want worms Susan - I've got worms!Vermicompost...You want worms Susan - I've got worms!

Vermicomposting is fun and easy and doesn't even smell!LauraHinNJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08329387562570495570noreply@blogger.com
