A window into my day

Lorelei loves to help Geoff take out the garbage.

The marsh is home to at least two frogs. Gotta line the thing, though. The only reason there's water in there is because it rained hard today.

Sunflowers are so happy-looking...but the one on the end, the one that fell a few days ago, looks like it's giving up the ghost. Or maybe the goldfinches are just being brutal.

This is Aidan, son of our very good friends Mike and Kim. Aidan is three now. Where does the time go? (The cake was made of ice cream...yum)

Thanks for the happy pics!

I have two sunflowers that sprouted around the birdfeeder - hope the squirrel won't eat them before they flower.

Taking out the garbage - there's the making of a childhood memory. ;-)

Your yard looks huge!

I really don't know what kind of frog it is...I thought orignally it was just a young bullfrog, but it doesn't sound like one.
It doesn't have ridges on its back, and it has faint spots on its legs. Anyone want to make a guess?

Could the spots on the legs be where someone tried to baste or bread the legs?! Just a thought.
